JENNYSORAKONG

Jenny was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and stepped into the beauty industry at just fourteen years old. By eighteen, she was already working in salons before moving to Los Angeles at 21 to expand her creativity in a more fast-paced and inspiring environment. With over 17 years of experience, Jenny has spent the last decade working as a freelance artist both behind the chair and occasionally on set with well known celebrities.

Recently, Jenny launched Lovelia Beautique — an online beautique (beauty + boutique) featuring her personally curated favorite hair products imported from South Korea. Every product is hand-selected by Jenny herself and chosen based on what she genuinely uses in her studio. This exciting new journey allows more people to experience the quality and care she provides, even if they can’t sit directly in her chair.

Jenny is an artist known for her precision cutting and highly customized approach to hair. She has built a strong reputation for color corrections, vivid fashion colors, straightening services, and perms, while confidently working with all hair textures. She also specializes in multiple extension methods, including keratin bonds, micro links,

sew-ins, and tape-ins (skin wefts).

Throughout her career, Jenny has continued to refine her craft through advanced education with renowned companies and artists including Vidal Sassoon, TIGI, Schwarzkopf, Davines, Shannon Rha, Hippie Buddha, My.o Soo, among others and always is upgrading her techniques by continuing education.

​

Her experience extends far beyond the salon. Jenny has worked passionately in the worlds of fashion, editorial shoots, commercials, music videos, concert tours, and film productions. In addition to hair artistry, she is also professionally trained in makeup artistry and graduated from the Master Course at Cinema Makeup School —

one of Los Angeles’ top makeup schools for film and television production.
